After School Club Assistant

Huntington Primary Academy

Grade C, £22,737, reduced pro rata.

13.75  hours per week – Monday to Wednesday 2.45—5.30pm, Thursday 2.45—5pm and Friday 2.45—6 pm

Permanent,  term time only.

Huntington Primary Academy is looking to appoint a committed, caring and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our hardworking team.

You will be responsible for supervising and assisting pupils during after school club.  This includes leading and supporting safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities for a range of different age groups, working to ensure that the atmosphere  remains safe and calm.

The successful candidate should enjoy working with children and being in a busy environment, as well as being able to support the ethos and values of the school.   They will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.  Previous experience of working in school is desirable but not essential.

Breakfast Club Supervisor

Grade E SCP 6-9  (£23,893- £25,119) reduced pro rata

5  hours per week, 7.45—8.45 am  daily. Term time only, Permanent.

Huntington Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Breakfast Club Supervisor to take a lead role in running our Breakfast Club.  The club aims to provide a positive start to the school day by:

  • Providing a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children to play and develop freely, which meets their individual needs.
  • Encouraging children to have positive attitudes and good behaviour, respecting both themselves and other people.
  • Providing a nutritious breakfast,

The successful candidate should be passionate about working with children, and be able to co-ordinate play and provide a safe, stimulating, comfortable and friendly high quality provision., as well as prepare and serve food.  They will be self motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for our children.
